NOELINE BROWN

Noeline's father was a trade unionist post office worker. In 1958, a teenager, she was taken to NT to see Black Diamonds by Frank Hardy who also acted in it. She was impressed that Hardy could speak his part and smoke a pipe at the same time. In 1959 she performed in the NT revue Fission Chips wearing a moth-eaten fur bikini that had seen better days. She later recalled being nervous about exposing herself to a bunch of strangers, but little did she know she’d spend the next half century doing just that!

Noeline Brown has a Wikipedia entry.
