DONALD JAMES TURNOCK
Of interest to ASIO, Don Turnock acted in Frank Hardy's Black Diamonds 1958 and the revue Fission Chips 1959. He was a member of the production committee for a short period. He gave Miriam Hampson horse-racing tips (Kurrawong in the 2nd race -- a cert!).
In 1952 he married Barbara Laurel Bevestock. Barbara Turnock did Front Of House every Saturday night during the 1958 season of The Crucible. Don was described by ASIO as youngish, good-looking and pleasant; his wife as a nice girl.
Barbara Turnock died on 26 August 1984. Don died in 1985.
