CLYDE NELSON SMYRK (1920- 2006)

A NT member 1955 - 1975, Clyde in 1969 acted in the children's shows The Bushranger and The Hunters and the Henwife (in which he did well vocally and physically, playing two hunters made into one by magic. His schizophrenic character staged fights with himself). Clyde regularly attended meetings and working bees and was a May Day organiser.

Born in Sydney, Clyde died at Hilldale near Maitland and was buried in Leppington cemetery. He was probably related to Harold Nelson Smyrk and Barbara Nelson Smyrk.
