BRIAN PHILLIP VICARY (ca 1930 - 2004)

Of interest to ASIO, Brian had his first NT role in Nekrassov 1957. He was one of the NT actors in Cecil Holmes’s film Three In One. In 1958 he played the working class seaman hero in Johnny Noble and John Proctor in The Crucible. He was ASM on Lawson 1961. He rejoined NT to play the cunning and astute Argan, the lead in The Imaginary Invalid 1983.

ASIO reported that Brian was dark-haired, intense, friendly, and quietly spoken offstage. He died aged 74 on 23 March 2004.
