Lee Lewis’ 2004 production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town was set in the aftermath of Ground Zero, its actors entering from backstage covered in white powder.

The same year saw the Australian premiere of War by Lars Norén.

The 2006 cast of R C Sherriff’s Journey’s End included Gus Murray as Captain Stanhope.


Oh, What a Lovely War, Mate, first produced in 1980, was remounted in 2007, its musical director John Short.
