Of interest to ASIO, Ming Ah Too was a Chinese medical student from Malaya. He and his friend William Lim, also a university student, played Chinese boys in No Strings Attached in 1958. In 1959 Ming Ah Too stage managed Fission Chips and attended the theatre's AGM.

Ming Ah Too and William Lim were both involved with the Chinese Youth League which had in 1942 evolved from the Sydney Chinese Youth Drama Association. NT members sang at the League's 1960 Chinese New Year celebrations, a party also attended by ASIO. Tribune regularly advertised the League's social functions.
