LEILA RODGERS

In 1935 Leila Rodgers played the rag woman in Carrion Crow and was in the cast of Love on the Dole, followed by Major Barbara 1936,a revival of Bury The Dead 1938, The Brave and the Blind 1938, The Gentle People 1940, Tomorrow the World 1944, and The Bells Are Ringing 1946.

Brian Rodgers was in the casts of The Brave and the Blind and Bury The Dead.

By 1965 Leila Rodgers was in Melbourne teaching at MLC Kew. She saw Francis Evers’ good review of A Penny for a Song in the Australian and wrote to Miriam Hampson in the NT office, asking to be remembered to Jean Blue and Alan Herbert.
